I believe Western Sizzlin was what Western Steer used to be. Not only did they have their location on High Point Road, they also had one on Battleground Avenue in 1989. The special on the day I was born was an 8 oz. chopped sirloin steak.
The price on those steaks has doubled these days. We still have Western Sizzlin' here.
I think Western Sizzlin' was in the white building beside Bojangles on Battelground. The High Point Road one is where Jack Astor's used to be. That site was also home to a Perkins restaurant briefly between being Western Sizzlin' and Jack Astor's
I have a very wide range of interests including Carolina Circle Mall, roads, and '90s nostalgia.
Most of all would be my interest in Carolina Circle Mall. It may be a weird interest to most people, but to me, it's life.
