Back in the '50s and '60s, movie theaters would have intermissions at the half way point in movies. They'd show films talking about what they serve at the concession stand and other interesting features.
I have created a playlist of my favorite intermission videos. A lot of them were from drive-in theaters. Sadly, I've never had the privelage to visit one. I heard there's one in Eden and Walkertown though.

The Walkertown drive-in has closed down.
I've been to at least one drive-in (in Christiansburg, Va.)and I'm sure that somebody like you would enjoy them immensely.
