1994 Returns: 9/22/05

A main feature here at Flashback City will be my truck load of commercials from November 27, 1994. That day, I recorded an 8 hour Rugrats marathon but was stored in the living room for about 10 years. But around March or April of 2005, I uncovered it. I had hit the motherload of vintage 1990's advertising.

And I would like to share them with the world. Every now and then, I'll post a few of those commercials.

Today, I have two ads. The first one is for Space Invaders for GameBoy. From what I have heard, that game was just like the old arcade game, but was given a 90's makeover.

The other one is for this cool little toy called Moon Shoes. It's amazing. Something as complex and technilogically advanced is no longer on the market as of today. Also notice at the end, it says that the stores you could buy it at are Toys R' Us, Target, and Fred Meyer. Back then, the area that I live in did not have a Target or a Fred Meyer. Target finally came here in 1997 but unfortunately there is still not a Fred Meyer around here.

These require Microsoft Windows Media Player and the file hosting site is VERY ad supported. Beware of impending pop-ups and if you're able to, I recomend a spyware scan. Also, there might be a 10 minute wait to download these. It's the only I could upload these.

Those are some wild commercials, Billy. I remember the Space Invaders commercial in particular. To tell you the truth, I actually remember Space Invaders from the arcade pretty well!
